Harrison Aylott Death, England Obituary – Cotswold School Mourns Loss Of Student

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Harrison Aylott, a Year 11 student, following a sudden and tragic loss that has left his family, friends, and school community heartbroken.

Harrison was a valued and much-loved member of our school community. Having joined us in January 2026 after previously attending The Cotswold School and Chipping Campden School, he quickly settled in and became a familiar and positive presence around the school.

He made friends with ease and brought warmth, kindness, and a quiet positivity to those around him. Staff and students alike remember him as a genuine pleasure to know and teach, someone who approached school life with openness and a willingness to get involved in every opportunity offered to him.

Harrison’s time with us, though far too short, left a lasting impression. He will be remembered for his friendly nature, his ability to connect with others, and the positive energy he brought into everyday school life. Those who knew him speak of a young person who was respectful, caring, and full of potential.

The loss of Harrison is being deeply felt across the entire school community, as well as by those who knew him in his previous schools. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this incredibly painful time.

We are committed to supporting students and staff as they process this loss. We recognise that news like this can affect people in different ways, and we will continue to provide care and support for as long as it is needed.

We also encourage families to speak openly with their children about their feelings and to seek support where necessary, whether through the school or other available services.

Harrison Aylott will be remembered with great fondness by all who knew him. His presence made a difference, and his memory will remain with us.
